I’ll Be Back. No, wait a sec …… I’m Back

Hello to You all,

It turns out my  sabbatical Year off development didn’t last a year, heck as a matter of fact it didn’t last a few weeks as I continued working on development projects but made less fuzz about it.
As I said in my previous post I was getting a bit tired of just touching the coding part of the projects, being an illustrator before a programmer and having less and less time to do illustration work I felt that part was missing and needed to get back to it, i supposed it will take Me a year at least but turns out it did not, I started getting involved in the illustration field more and i think i set the proper balance between the things I love to do and work on. The development freelance work is great but is also true that you end up working as much if not more than on a regular job without being able to do any “creative” input, so looking forward to that and to not spend 24 hrs a day glued to the computer writing code I decided  along with Cecy Meade to set up a studio focused on digital publicity, games, mobile development illustration and motion graphics all of this under our own brand Team-O.

That said I will start writing on this blog again, due to recent changes in the industry and the mere fact that I would be lying if I said that all my projects are done with Flash or Adobe technologies this blog wont be longer just about Flash, ActionScript or Adobe tools. I will write posts and tutorials about every tools and coding languages I get my hands on as well as design and illustration tips and tricks I use ( any suggestions or petitions of some specific tutorial You will like to see on the blog are welcome).

Thanks for reading and happy coding
Dave.

Interviewed at ActionScriptHero.org

Last Friday ActionScriptHero published an interview with Your friendly neighbor swfgeek, I´m very flattered to give an interview for one of the sites that has helped so much to shape the Flash Platform Community.

Special thanks to Pablo Parrado for the invitation,  and check out the interview at ActionScriptHero.org
