Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from .swfgeek !!!

If you happen to celebrate this holidays ( or not ) I wish you the best with your families and friends, 2008 was a year full of new stuff for me, new job, new city, new friends it was a good year overall and hope 2009 gets just as much exiting as 2008 was, I plan to add more examples and tutorials on this site just entering the year so keep tuned in ( any topic suggestions for the examples and tutorials are welcome).

Wonderfl Build Flash Online is a  tool that let’s you write and compile as3 ( actionscript3 ) code right in your browser,  the compiler version it currently uses is  ActionScript Version 3.2.0 build 3794 , and lets you use the following libraries:

• Progression, version 3.0.8

I usually just post Flash Platform related stuff in this blog, but I’ll make an exception, why ? because the new version of WordPress(2.7 “Coltrane”) the Blog engine that I use it’s simply amazing , lots of changes in the Admin area you can almost customize everything, you can install plugins directly  without the need to download them, and also upgrade your WordPress automatically without messing around with FTP, ok enough talking check this video to judge by yourself.

Well this post has been postponed for some time ( exactly 4 Months and 14 Days ) for one reason or another, but I think it’s about time I released it, about 6 months ago I recieved a mail asking me if I was interested in joining Grupo W on the development team, and of course my response was yeah when do I begin, so I  made an appointment  to know Grupo W headquarters and get to know the people behind such great experiences as:
